Back when I was more into that kind of stuff in the seventies, there were several companies that dealt in surplus electronic (and allied) equipment and components. I remember, for instance, that one of them offered some front-surface mirrors with a corner cut out, surplus from Xerox 914s. I see that the one I remember in Lima OH is closing in May, but that there are still a bunch of them around. As someone who loves browsing in used-book stores and stationery stores, I loved browsing those catalogs, and even occasionally buying stuff.

Alex will probably end up as CEO for their website.

Ripley’s had someone buying a 285 year old lemon for 1700 bucks or something. So the kid knows that people will buy anything.

What does a “defective” poodle look like?
timinwsac Premium Member 8 months ago
Make sure that she orders an equal number of defective poodles to go with the skirts.

The defective poodle skirt market is about to boom.
Rain gear for cats still awaits it’s day in the sun (so to speak).

It takes skill to be able to sell something the company that made the product couldn’t sell.

So, is that “three-legged poodles” defective or “open in the back” defective?

I don’t see what they’re doing to sell things that the other companies couldn’t.

Variety is the trick. Something for everyone. And at bargain prices. Kinda sounds like Amazon today. With some Ebay thrown in for bulk buyers.

Defective? They put Rottweilers on them by mistake?
