I have a pair of glasses in every room. I have glasses for watching TV, glasses for reading mail while standing in front of the recycle bin in the kitchen, glasses for reading a book while in bed, glasses for the computer, glasses for mowing the lawn.
So I get in the habit of taking off my glasses when I leave a room so they are there when I come back to use the room.
There was some TV show I quit watching (it was about some guy who had to become POTUS because everyone in line died) because the lead kept whipping off his glasses anytime he had to say something important. Those things would never sit straight on his face after that kind of abuse IRL.

Nah, he just remembered that he usually cleans his glasses every Thursday. She had just reminded him it’s both Thursday and Leap Day.

Did you ever notice that profound and confound are not opposites? Is that profound?
