One time on campus, a friend and I were doing our laundry in the laundry room. We emptied a dryer that was done. Since the clothes belonged to another friend, we folded them to have something to do while we waited. He hadn’t claimed them when we were done, so we decided to put them in the dryer, folded. We almost convinced him that the extra quarter did it.
At least you have a laundry room in a house. On each floor at my condo building, there’s one laundry room for six condo units. One has to time what day they’re going to use the one washer and dryer, especially during snowbird season. At one time we had coin operated machines, but a few years back switched to free [commercial grade] machines.
I still have a laundry bag with towels and dish towels in it from when it was taken to laundromat last Monday, I have plenty so I always feel there is no rush to get to them and if I need them I tend to just grab out of the bag what I need at that moment.

Do not wash without drying. Damp laundry can get extremely funky overnight.

Well…except half my DNA…my mom is one of those disgusting people who does that!
Most of my laundry gets hung on hangers to dry, so that’s half the battle. As for the stuff from the dryer…well…never mind…

Let’s not forget ironing. Of course shirts and pants, but I used to even iron my handkerchiefs!

I’m doing laundry now. Any volunteers to fold and put away?

How about just the wash, dry and fold? I don’t really put my clothes away. I put them on my bedroom floor.

Guess I am the odd one out today. It’s hard to me to relax and enjoy my Saturday if I have laundry hanging over me. Mine is all done and put away.
