The “Jesus Gets Us” Super Bowl ad was funded by the “Servant Foundation,” which has many anonymous donors (dark money?), but one of the known major donors is David Green, founder of Hobby Lobby. This is bait-and-switch — the ads try to present a kinder, gentler, softer side of Christianity, but the backers promote anti-LGBTQIA+ hate and far right causes.

It is a scam; it is a big business, in which they sell an invisible product at an exorbitant price (paid over a lifetime) and the buyer doesn’t get the invisible product until after they’re dead. And their scam is subsidized by being able to avoid paying taxes.

If they can afford $14 MILLION to promote their scam, they can afford to actually feed the hungry instead of just preaching about it, and they can certainly afford to pay taxes.

JUST SAY NO TO SOCIALIZED RELIGION.

A pro-Bobby Kennedy Junior ad burned over $7 million on one 30 second spot using the template from one of his uncle’s 1960 ads with the nephew’s grill superimposed all over the place. Then Bobby Jr had the gall to apologize to his outraged family by saying that the American Values Super PAC paid for the ad and put it together so he had nada to do with it. He will take any press he can get…. Robert Shrum said it best: "Bobby you are no John Kennedy. Instead you are a Trump ally.”

Jesus would not keep weapons of mass murder available to any crazy person.

If there was any group of people Jesus didn’t who love for it was for the greedy wealthy people. He said something to the effect of that it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a wealthy person could make it to heaven.

The Jesus ad was there to compete with the RFK Jr. ad for the ignominy of being the worst Super Bowl ad of this year.

The problem with the right wing Krazy Kristian Klan is that they pay no real attention to the teachings of Jesus. A progressive who could quote chapter and verse from the Gospels would put those phonies to shame. Sadly, there is some kind of dis-connect between Jesus and the political Left. He really was the original Leftist. It’s a shame that the religion founded in His name has been bastardized by such horrible people.

Wow, I see the usual commenting group of anti Trumpers and haters of all republicans also hate Jesus, too. Such an unhappy bunch that post stuff they wouldn’t say to their spouse, kids or grandkids. Clay Jones is able to mock and poke you in the eye with his twisted humor.
