What a tragic and sad day in KC. Though I’m not a Chiefs fan, one should be able to celebrate your team’s championship, without the fear of getting shot and never making it back home. Sigh……
every privately owned gun in this country needs to be confiscated… the 2cd amendment does NOT give individuals the ‘right to bear arms’…it gave the individual states the right to arm their militias…in the old west, it was illegal to carry a gun into town…a Clanton did once and that started the gunfight at the OK Corral…McCall had to pretend to leave town to get his gun back, then snuck back in to shoot Wild Bill Hickok…Daniel Boone made it illegal to carry a gun in Boonesborough…tv and movies have destroyed our history…great scene in Rio Bravo is Dean Martin collecting guns as cowboys rode into town, and that’s how it really was…and most cowboys, like Clanton carried their guns wrapped in oily rags in their saddlebags because dust would cause misfires…most people, including the lawmakers in Washington. know nothing about history…confiscate them all and do background checks first…they arrested a man in CA in 2023 on a non-related gun charge but in searching his home found over 10,000 ak-47s and hundreds of thousands rounds of ammunition…
This will be my last Chiefs posting until next season. Yesterday was meant to be a celebration and as we all witnessed, ended in tragedy. I posted and loaded on GoComics before this occurred and I am sorry if this comes across as me not being aware. The victims were from our parish and we are devastated here in KC. Peace.
