What a Horrible! thought. Mammoths and dodos are fine- but Reagan started the slide to the current mess, with his ‘trickle-down’ voodoo economics, and his ‘greed-is-good’ BS… and then cemented that trend by using Treason to be elected in the first place. If you don’t remember ‘Iran-Contra’, look it up, and be appalled.

What is it with Republican Presidents being so willing to commit Treason with America’s mortal enemies, anyway? Nixon, Reagan, and now the Putin-puppet to fill out the roster. America needs no other enemies, as long as the Republican Party exists.

I survived the Regan years. No thanks.

Broadly agree with the comic. Mr. Reagan launched the second greatest economic growth period in American history (vs 1880-1913) ended only when the democrats took over Congress in Jan 2007. All he did was constrain bureaucrats and simplify taxes; a consistent formula for economic success.

This Reagan Republican is alive and well. No need for bringing something extinct back to lift. Personally, I think Reagan was the best president in the last 50 years. He was a man of conviction. Yeah, he messed up with the Iran Contra deal but like the other presidents they also had their back door deals to try and accomplish what Congress wouldn’t do.
