I wasn’t allowed to get my license until I was 20. I still don’t know why, I got into enough trouble with my friends driving. Then when I finally got my license I ended up as my mothers personal chauffeur. Good thing I got married at 22 or I’d be driving her forever. She lived until 93.
NATIONAL COMFY DAY. On National Comfy Day, allow yourself to get comfortable and relax! It’s time to get cozy in your favorite place and take a break from the daily grind. I did that yesterday, but today, I have to go to work.
NATIONAL CHERRY PIE DAY
NATIONAL MUFFIN DAY. By coincidence, I baked muffins yesterday (apple cinnamon). So I shall eat a muffin today. Maybe even 2 of them
I would go walking with my cat Johnny Depp in the streets of a resort area of Morro Bay. No leash – we took turns following each other.
One day, we heard a meow from the other end of the block. We waited as a woman approached with a stroller. The meows were coming from a “princess” of a cat sitting behind a veil inside. I looked at my cat; my cat looked at me. Craziest thing we had ever seen.
Bucky crossed the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. One minute he was fine, and he next he wasn’t, so we brought him to our vet. He went downhill very rapidly. He was severely anemic and the vet thought there may be internal bleeding, so we agreed to send him on his way. We were with him to the end. We’re still in shock. We can’t believe it. He was only 12.
In that case, good luck getting a license, kid. Just kidding. Love Annie’s comment about Chesney driving her buggy. very funny. On another note, saw two wrens and six chickadees while out walking today.

Quite a vocabulary for someone in a baby buggy. And math skills, too.

You go and drive then while I go inside for a nice luxuriant bubble bath with wine and candles.

And somewhere, Sammy Hagar is thinking of incorporating this into the remaster of his biggest hit.

Where is UFO? We had fun with that strip even tho it only attracted a few readers. Graham, keep drawing it, it grows on one.
