Clarence has the biggest decision he has ever had to make, take the million dollars a year and the 2 million + RV and step down from SCOTUS. A guaranteed offer from comendian John Oliver.
It’s been reported that John Oliver offered Clarence Thomas $1 million a year, lifetime if Thomas would get the hell off the Supreme Court.
Plus a $2.4 mil RV.
And a bonus would be Thomas finding out how many of his billionaire ‘friends’ would remain his friends.
.
I think it is doubtful that Thomas will take him up on the offer.
Not that he has integrity, no one believes he has any. Rather, he will use to offer to extract more money and benefits from his ‘friends’. Opportunities like that don’t come along every day.
There has been uneven influence by the Moneyed Class upon national affairs since the First Continental Congress, but never have they consolidated so much power and influence as they have NOW.

In 2000 the GOP SCOTUS decided the presidential election, shades of South America. Now they are positioned to do more damage.

There is an error in this cartoon. It’s the .1% not the 1% of people who buy the court!

Can you imagine how incredibly stupid a person would have to be to be surprised that a known criminal (perjury) also takes bribes?
