That sounds more like spelling. But grammar police are likely to be active on spelling, as well. Diction, too.

Not to mention syntax. Please, no lame/dad/ancient jokes about “sin tax”.

I admit to it. I’m a spelling/grammar nerd myself. Your, You’re and there, their, and they’re … what’s so hard about it?

I notice that Wiley Miller seems to have quite good grammar . .

You guys are great but my take on this is a little different. This is an example of the 2nd biggest reason for divorce, while the 1st was the invention of the wheel and the back seat (driver or otherwise) both count.

You can correct people’s grammar or have friends, not both.

Instead of correcting somebody’s grammar, say: Wait. Did you mean this or that?

Grammer police can be a bit irritating at times, but in all areas, teaching the ignorant is the only way they might learn. Also, sometimes it’s simply a missed keystroke.

This is why people preferred illiteracy for so long. Let the experts deal with the stupid rules. And make even more stupid to cover the mistakes.

I appreciate people who try to educate me. I was in college before I knew the difference between it’s and its. I went to catholic schools growing up and had a poor education.
