I had a chief who would schedule herself for multiple meetings held at the same time. She tried to attend those meetings simultaneously but failed to be attentive to either.
The sad truth is that people like Rita stay employed and people who work really hard with drive and initiative improving the workplace for everyone get taken advantage of and eventually fired because they make the Ritas look bad I do speak from experience. Plus I was with the guy my boss clearly liked.
