There seems to be a difference between what Janis and Arlo feel their house is worth. The current exchange rate is:

Arlo should be smart enough to have more faith in Janis by now.

Apparently I look at the pictures of the strip before giving much consideration to the reading the dialog. I initially thought Arlo wanted to down load something from a VCR tape, had issues with it, and then Janis had to stick her finger in the tape to help wind some excess tape back into the VCR cartridge. I suppose this is my way of telling you I’m more of the “seasoned” readers of this strip without actually using the word “old” when I thought what Arlo was holding was a VCR tape instead of a cell phone……sheesh!

This getting tedious. They need to take a trip or something.
