They are called Girl Guides in Britain and Canada. They Guide you to the cookie sales table. It’s a gateway to the addictive mint ones.

my ex was girl scout leader in 70’s…i attended so many meetings and went on all their camping trips, they finally made me an honorary girl scout…i still have my badge and carry it in my wallet

I used to like the mint cookies, but they musta changed the recipe. Either that or my taste buds have changed as the years roll by, which is also entirely possible!

Dad used to say, he was A Girl Scout in his teens. (Always out scouting for girls.)

Years ago my co-worker brought in his daughters’ Girl Scout Cookies order form, and I, being young and carefree and with disposable income, ordered two cases of Thin Mints. So guy told me that’d be four bucks or whatever, and I had to explain that I said two cases, not boxes.

Ahh, to be young and not have to worry about money or my waistline again.

There newish Smores are good (sold out last year, so they are new to me) but I am still a do si do’s girl, personally. Yumm!
