As I mentioned over a week ago, when I was commenting on the three Saints Days in Britain at the beginning of March, there is a poem that goes “First Saint David, Then Saint Chad, Then Winnaloe as though he was mad.” That referred to the stormy weather in March especially on March 3 which is Saint Winnaloe’s Day.
Id must be in Colorado. We are having the same storm as Id is! We are supposed to get at least 12 inches of snow tonight into Thursday! I we aren’t even in the mountains.
It was a pleasant sunny day in Mexico City, with highs in the low 80s. No rain till the “temporada de lluvias”, which usually begins around the end of May.

Welcome to the wonderful world of climate change. Or, as we might call it, weather forecaster’s nightmare.

Biggest snow storm I can remember in McKinney, Texas was April 1 in the early 2000s. But this strip accurately describes Texas weather in March.

Sometimes it seems like March should be called
… something like “Ta-da!” or “Surprise”!

Saw the News 9 Storm Tracker truck down by the I-40 and 281 junction yesterday, with not a cloud in the sky.

Around here March has gotten over itself and we have clear, warming weather. Though April may make fools of us all.

March, and to some extent October, can’t make up their minds.
