He should be worrying about the intelligence of his grandson.

If he used a video camera, he could do 60s tv Batman climbing the wall.

That’s a push OFF. But cute. Do you know about the one where you have the mark stand with their heels against the wall and drop a $5 bill between their feet and “If you can pick that up and stand up straight without bending your knees, touching the floor with your hand or moving your feet you can keep it.” They can’t.

Standing pushups off the wall are better than no pushups at all, especially when you need assistance to get up from the floor.

And then he’ll ask Nelson to pull it.

Even for a wall “pushup”, I think Earl “cheated” a little.

In panel 1 his body was flush against the wall.

In panel 4 his body with his feet are well away from the wall.

My grampa had a bunch of little tricks like that, that he had taught my father, that my father taught me, that I have taught me my son. It’s up to my son to carry on.

Earl you are an amazing Grandpa! Love it!

the Ringling Brothers circus had a performer called Uno who could balance himself with 1 finger on a crystal ball. I think the ball had an indentation on top. still quite a feat.

I guess Earl’s story was before the wrongly named “hot water heater”.

where are the super heroes today??? if we ever needed them, it’s now!!

Yeah…….. amazing……. sure Grampa…….. sure

Wanna bet that finger will be in a splint tomorrow? Earl, your days of physical prowess are over…if you ever had any. ( I know because I consider it a victory to just get out of bed in the morning.) But you can still do plenty of entertaining “Grandpa stuff”, so don’t worry.

Nelson is very easily impressed.
