Inspiration for the Grapes of Wrath?

Grape not quite ripe yet?

Must be vintage. Harv’s already smashed.

Sour grapes eh Anty.

I built a pergola and planted grapes for shade, Monarch butterflies laid their eggs and destroyed every grapevine I owned

Harve gave a little whine.

The wrath of grapes.

Maybe picking and having someone below to catch the grapes is not the best strategy.

This left a bitter taste in my mouth.

As good an excuse as any for raisin the price.

Eiswein, anyone?

We’re going to need a new Harv.

So much for the ‘ant can carry’ tale. ’Owned a Willow tree once, and ants rained down on us from it … till I learned about their farming aphids, carrying them up, collecting their sweet juice, and diving to get it back to their nest … and I cut it down.

The hard ones don’t come off the vine easily.
