I thought this arc was dumb the first time around and my opinion hasn’t changed.

I think she’s still deluded over the ‘our friends’ she pretty much torpedoed most of her relationships when she abandoned mike and zeke knows more bill collectors than friends

I don’t believe any of this is really legal this way …. the couple getting married needs to go to the registry office to get a form, physically give the official that form and once filled out, it must be filed at the registry…….. I don’t believe faxing or e-mailing is a valid option

Are you sure he CAN bless you? I mean come on, you’ve been living in sin with a person you broke your original vows with in an adulterous relationship. If anything, that’s a CURSED union.

Ultimately, Zeke proposed to J.J. because he thought Alex wanted him to and he wanted to please Alex because he genuinely wants Alex to like him. That’s got to count for SOMETHING.

I suspect that Zeke just doesn’t “get” that Alex would, among other things, hold a grudge against him stealing her Beanie Babies. I mean, from Zeke’s perspective: “Hey, she got ‘em BACK, didn’t she? All’s well that ends well, man.” In Zeke’s world, you can SHOOT a man and it’s let bygones be bygones if the money’s good.To paraphrase Popeye, Zeke is what he is. Just like the rest of us.
