they’re all doomed.

Never heard of it!

Doing it yourself is better than waiting for the city crew.

Children doing free labour to fix the city’s infrastructure. ’merica sure do suck.

They do realize they’re breaking the law, right?

This being Heart, they could all get it done & get back to their respective homes with none the wiser & a couple less potholes. OR, they get caught, it gets on the news & the City gets shamed into repairing the potholes with a big parental & concerned citizens shove of a foot in the Officials backsides!

What are they filling them with?

Community service!!!!!!

I guess in the land of make believe, all things can be possible. But I’ve been at construction sites and at night. No way anyone can do a proper job at night with ambient temperatures cooler, no lights (sorry, cones won’t cut it), no flagger, cutting will make a lot of noise, how will they flatten the material? Tennis shoes?

Where did they get all the material to fill the hole? The hole looks like a mini Grand Canyon.

Every patch I ever did on my public streets lasted longer and was much smoother than anything ever done by the city crews. It really is not difficult if you put in just a bit of time and effort. And I didn’t find out how to do it via the Internet (I’m far from sure I could have found that info on the Internet when I first began patching holes in the road, but it is possible that info was findable a quarter century ago.)

That’s not a pothole, it’s a sinkhole that can cause fatal accidents. I can’t believe the city doesn’t do anything to fill it.
