The BC comic has been in my life for over 60 years. It doesn’t bother me that they are including boats, or wood, or trying to fly. It took long enough for the writers to add even these ‘modern’ concepts. Love that this comic is still going!

Personally, at 80, I would love to have some wood … my metal doors are too efficient in moving temperatures from the right place to the wrong place.
