Son In Law put his foot down and said, “We are not getting a dog!” He now lets puppy dawg sleep on his head just like Earl is doing and life is good!

This sounds like a win-win.

I thought Muffin slept on Earl’s head.

Does she ever have anything pleasant to say to Earl?

I used to let my dog lay his head on my leg and sleep. We got new furniture and that’s over.

Earl finds the perfect excuse for doing nothing for a long long while…

The downside is that it keeps him from his afternoon nap…

My dog does the same to my daughter, she calls him her parrot dog!

You’ll remember all those unkind words you said to Earl when he passes on, Pearl. It will eat at your soul.

The top of his head is probably the least stinky compared to feet and “vibrating” lap

We all have some degree of tolerance toward others. When it comes to Opal, Earl has an infinite degree of tolerance.

Not only that, but a lot of the body’s heat is there.

My Scottie would do that during a thunderstorm. and shake.

When Roscoe wakes up he will be relieved that it was just a bad dream, and that he didn’t grow an Earl on his chin.

I love it when animals sleep/rest in odd place on me! I once had a cat who was not all too big on laps or being held for too long. One day while laying on the couch on my belly, she jumped up on my back and stayed there for quite a long time. I enjoyed every second.

My cat likes to sleep on my belly for the same reason

Maybe its because Earl has a warm head :)
