In my experience, my intuition is better than the GPS when it gets confuzzled. Which it does much less often than it useta, but it firmly led us wrong only a couple of years ago on the way to a country wedding site. Fortunately, we did arrive only a little late… which was fine because weddings NEVER start on schedule.
In the book the tin man chopped down a tree to get them across an enormous gorge. There were creatures that were going to kill them if they didn’t get across in time.
I had a man drive by today and ask where to find a certain address. Although the name of the street he was looking for matched the name of the street he was on, there was no such number on any of the mail boxes or houses. So I looked at what Mr. Google Maps had to say. According to that, the address existed and consisted of a 50 foot long and 5 foot wide median street in the middle of the road.

Beware of shortcuts. They can be longer in the long run.

If you have a yellow brick road, why do you need a GPS?

The sign and the roadblock is a trick of the witch. They should go around it and continue to drive on down this road.

That was a really bad shortcut. Look, now we’re UNDER the rainbow. What have you done? We’ll never get there from here.
