I liked all kinds of music as a teen in the early seventies. One time I bought two record albums at a store- Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony … and an Alice Cooper album.
One of the best shows I have ever seen was “27 Heaven” with the musicians who have died at the age of 27; Jim Morrison, Jimmie Hendrix, etc. I keep hoping someone will do it again locally.

So I’m guessing Elvis, Beethoven, Lennon and Prince… No?

Try again on Prince. Hint: Picture a little boy singing a love song to a rat.

Reminds me of my favorite real-life multi-genre band: Dread Zeppelin. Their music is a mixture of Elvis/Led Zeppelin/Reggae/Disco.

The second one finally corrected the misspelling of his name. As an early rocker, it’s really Beathoven.

I wonder if tribute bands have been around long enough for there to be a tribute band to a tribute band?

All these comments, and nobody mentioned JBC?
byword84646 8 months ago
What does the “JBC” stand for? Is it the name of a band?
mistercatworks 8 months ago
It does make you wonder what a tribute band for them is going to look like. :)

I mean, you’re really only missing some solid guitar work there, so throw in Hendrix and you might have something…

I’m thinking the Traveling Wilburys.

Le (nnon) E (lvis) M (ichael Jackson) B (ethoven). “Le E M B”. Not quite “Let it be”, but close enough for a band name.

Glad A Common ’tator said Beethoven, because I immediately thought it was George Washington!
