I have found that if you add some coconut oil to your turnips and squash, it makes it so much easier to scrape it off your plate and into the trash!

There are things that are good for you, and things that are just good. (I would hesitate at a turnip doughnut.)

Well, if you squash your donut before you eat it, maybe you can count it as a vegetable.

Know why we choose the donut? Because we can, so we do.

I eat maybe one or two donuts a year and I love squash, cooked properly. A favorite meal is sourdough zucchini waffles!

Unless I can find a true, homemade glazed donuts, I do without. These factory produced, commercial donuts are not real donuts.

There’s some weird folks in Keedysville. Best to drive around it. Or take the Crampton Gap, and yes, you can get cramps there.

Never had a turnip in my life, though I am open to it. I like squash. As for doughnuts, I try to avoid them to keep my weight down.

My mom made delicious baked grated turnips and apples, and now I suspect it must have had a lot of sugar, cinnamon, and butter in the recipe.

I have one doughnut a week. Coffee time after church on Sunday. A Methodist church cannot function without coffee and doughnuts.
