Huh? I think that’s a weird reaction to a talking dog. The pizza was a nice thought, though.

Don’t be picky, Spud. You can always take the worms out first.

Isn’t mangled pizza just a calzone?

At one of my prior jobs we handed cookies out to the kids. The little ones often dropped theirs so we just gave them another one. One kid dropped his cookie and I was about to hand him another one when his mom picks up the dropped cookie from the floor, hands it to him, and says, “Oh, don’t worry about it. He hasn’t eaten his daily quota of dirt yet, anyway.” I thought I was going to bust a seam, I was laughing so hard.

Look, it’s the thought that counts, doesn’t it? And besides, don’t kid yourself, Spud—you’re still going to happily eat it anyway, admit it.

Don’t think of it as mangled; think of it as a pizza sandwich.

I would never punish my child for calling 911 if they thought it was an emergency. I would just discuss what constitutes an emergency.

I sure wish I knew a “Wallace” when I was a kid. I was your typical “Rose”, but nerdy kids with good grades were always bullied back then.
