I was quite skeptical that my phone listens in on my conversations. Then one time I was talking and felt my phone buzz. On the screen it said it didn’t get that last part because of the lint in my pocket…
Even after paying so much money they still wants your data and bombards you with ads. Me once thoughts such theengs was only in case of free services. How greedy can these steenky corporate clowns gets?
I was talking with a coworker in a part of the workplace with no computers or other apparent information technology anywhere nearby, and neither one of us were carrying a phone or anything else high-tech. He gets into some pretty obscure topics, and that day he was telling me about the so-called “Toyota War” between Chad and Libya in 1987. I didn’t think anything about it until I got home and decided to watch YouTube, and there in my suggested feed was a video on (you guessed it) the “Toyota War” between Chad and Libya in 1987.
Advertising may be as old as time itself! Egyptians used papyrus to make sales messages and wall posters. It has been found in the ruins of Pompeii and ancient Arabia. In ancient China, the earliest advertising known was oral, as recorded in the Classic of Poetry (11th to 7th centuries BC) Today Worldwide spending on advertising exceeds US$600 billion annually. You can’t stop it and they are coming for you!!!!
I had to quit playing Pandora in class for music because it saw that I was in my 50’s and Pandora became concerned about ED. I didn’t want to have any improper discussions with my 8th graders.
If I’m gonna see ads anyway, I’d prefer they be for something I’m shopping for, rather than irrelevant. But I don’t want additional ones pumped in on top of normal usage of my phone.

Yesterday I was talking about “TV series” when Siri tried to join the conversation. The last time that happened I was talking about Syria.

Modern board-level microphones are so small. I bought some from Amazon for a hobby project. Super cheap.

Is there an ad for a product that can treat diarrhea of the mouth? It would be perfect for a certain politician who can’t seem to shut up.

Someone asked former President Clinton “Boxers or Briefs?”
“Depends.” (ever the reliable politician)
