Might as well get trashed.

Someone posted a cool video the other day on Twitter/X of a kid who waited for the sanitation truck each week dressed as a little garbage man to help them throw some garbage into the truck.Then his mom made sure he thanked them with some cookies.

A manually-loaded waste collection vehicle; how quaint.

And even less going on if the highlight would have been garbage pickup… Except the garbage truck didn’t come by.

Does this mean Grimmy no longer bites the mailman? That should make Kenny, the president of the local letter carriers union in my town, very happy.

Too close to true. Like realizing I’ve become my parent.

I feel like my day is in the dumps as well.

It’s a dirty thankless job, but someone has to do it and it serves a purpose. Otherwise there’d be such a traffic jam at the landfills that would defy description if everyone took their own trash to it

Last year a garbage truck, still holding the neighbor’s trash bin, on it’s sided, side-swiped my car. Not nice!

… now when the recycling truck comes …

they literally picked up my garbage 15 minutes ago!
