Collectively, there is quite a bit of knowledge and wisdom found in the comments. I usually find one or two pearls a week. For example on Sunday, Furbabies by Ms. Beiman told the story of Smoky, the first therapy dog and an genuine canine hero.
I think reading the comments at Breaking Cat News has helped me with the NY Times Connections puzzle 3 times now. Not sure that is quite the meaning of life though.
Okay, I’m going to call it! I said I was gonna get you guys and I think I did. I made up National Guru Day… it’s not a real thing (at least not on May 20th). Gotcha!!!

The meaning of life is… oops… I lost the meaning… hope that wasn’t important to anyone.

I’m not quite sure I’ll find the meaning of life but I’m sure I get through the morning with a few laughs.

To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous comments,
Or to take arms against a sea of replies
And by opposing end them. To die—to sleep …,

I do learn a lot by reading the comments on GoComics. Maybe not the meaning of life, but a lot of good, useful (and sometimes, useless) information.
