Because she’s not real. She’s a Raggedy Kitty doll.

I thought the strip had something to do with the hole in the wall. Now Annie has to try and explain stuffed kitties.

    Today is:

    NATIONAL DEVIL’S FOOD CAKE DAY

TAKE YOUR PARENTS TO THE PLAYGROUND DAY

    NATIONAL ENDANGERED SPECIES DAY

NATIONAL MAY RAY DAY. “May 19 is the time of year National May Ray Day celebrates the bright sunshine, warmer weather with just a slight breeze to cool your skin.” Slight breeze? Oh, YEAH?! no slight breezes here. its been more like gusting winds.

I didn’t find my deer whistles yet, but I’ll keep looking. I found them recently when I was looking for something else, so I know I have some. All the same, I was ready to buy more at Walmart yesterday, but we didn’t have any. The count said we have 3, but there were none on the peg. Maybe they were stolen. I don’t have much of a bumper on my car, but maybe just enough to mount the deer whistles. I’m on vacation this coming week (Monday through Friday) so I have some time to dig in the closet for those whistles.

Anyway, I didn’t see any deer or any other animals on my drive home last night. I think I creamed a moth or some kind of bug that hit my windshield, but that was it. But driving to work yesterday, I saw a deer in the ditch in the general area where I saw the 2 fawns the other night. It wasn’t one of the fawns. This was an adult deer. Too far into the ditch to see its gender, but I can’t help wondering if it was the mother of those 2 fawns. That could explain why they were running around in such a confused state. I hope those fawns will be okay. If that was their mom, the poor babies must have been as scared as I was when I almost ran into them.

I don’t see why she isn’t responding. (Except that she may be a toy.) Who wouldn’t want to say hello to a nice kitty like Oliver. I don’t know much about Hello Kitty, but I immediately recognized her. On another note, saw four juncos, four robins, a rabbit, a swallow, a wren, and a raven while out walking today.
