A lot of body doubles don’t look anything like the star. Camera angles and distance are important. When ‘she’ is doing an incredible stunt, and her double is a burly guy, the camera is far away. If the star won’t do a nude scene the camera is in real tight and you only see a small bit of the double’s anatomy.
A friend of mine now retired worked as a body double and stunt woman specializing in pistols or small arms. She is an excellent marksman and competes in fast draw competitions.
