They can’t be “snow bird” types? My most envied friend has a beach place in Oregon, a cabin in Northern Calif , AND an easy pace when vacationing. I wish she’d take my bills along and lose them someplace.
So, he descends to the bottom of the sea in a constant, gradual rain of particles and then hardens into layers of rock. I can definitely see the advantages of that!
My mom moved to California to wait while my dad was in the pacific during WW2. After the war, they moved back to NYC. Each separately told the story of compromising for the sake of the other. At age 10 I vowed I would never live in a place I hated (and I don’t)!
I stopped reading for awhile because there was nothing going on. Long-time fan, but Arlo and Janis at home can get pretty repetitious. I decided to check back last week to see if anything had changed, and here they are, back at Gene and Mary Lou’s. I’ll stay with this arc, and if at the end they go home and start thinking about packing while talking to the cat, I’ll probably stop again.
