IMO they should make pickleball an Olympic sport. They already have table tennis, so start the life-sized version.

Video games develop hand to eye coordination and make you into a better human being.

I agree. I’m 58 so picked up a new sport about 2 months back. It’s a bit unconventional but it’s helping me deal self esteem issues resulting from prostate cancer. I kept it quiet for a bit but my wife runs around telling EVERYBODY about it so I figured it doesn’t matter about keeping it quiet so I’m the oldest person that I know of who has taken up cage fighting. I’m older than most of the guys fathers that I’m training with. A couple of them have grandfathers my age.

If he’s in decent enough shape, he could risk professional wrestling!

Joe does NOT get to say what he wants for his dad’s life. If Joe wants to play a sport, he can do so. Joe can do whatever he wants with HIS life, but not anyone else’s.

My grandmother loved playing video games. While they don’t prevent physical decline they do help prevent mental decline among older people.

We get enough of Pickleball in TANK mcNAMARA

Try Bocci—probably still popular in Philly’s Italian neighborhoods

So much for thinking we were going to have a few days’ strips worth of Marcus and Nicole backstage with Serenity Echo…

I’d heard of it but didn’t know what it was until this strip finally led me to google it. Sounds like a tolerable game, but it has a dumb name.

We were just glad when the Cricket matches ended here. We no longer have to drive 8+ miles to go to a frequent store stop which is 3 miles from our house (as the 4 lane main road between was closed for the matches even when nothing was going on). We can park at Wendys again when we go for lunch – for 2 weeks it was being used as illegal free parking for those going to the games- but they did not come in and eat at Wendys, and the county apparently made only a tiny fraction of what they figured/said they would make on this entire mess – same for county businesses – in exchange for shutting down ther golf courses, indoor pool, catering hall, etc at the park for the 2 weeks – plus the lost of room to just for go a walk around the park while the stadium was put up, up, and now while it will taken down for a month or so – which we did before this mess on a regular basis. I am hoping people remember this when the county executive runs again.
