I stopped thinking of school stuff around June 1st. Parole is SO close! ;-)

And here I am just looking forward to having July 4 off!

At least they finish before the solstice.

My brain usually shut off about mid-October…

The teachers brains shut down too. Probably because the kids too antsy to teach. Every year, between maybe the second week of May and the end of the school year, the City- County Building in Pittsburgh gets flooded daily with what seems to be thousands of grade school students; there to “learn how the government works.” It’s a minor miracle that the government works at all during that period.

Too much thinking is un-American, stop it!

Thinking about WHAT stuff?

They have a very short summer vacation, I guess. It doesn’t start until June 21st.

Where I am in Maine, the last day of school was yesterday. And in Vancouver BC, where I grew up, they have over a week more of school. But in both places, they don’t start in early August.
