Funny, today Calvin and Hobbes did fiveof those activities plus a few more. Too bad they can’t all get together.

Wanda will give them something to do that they won’t like at all.

The magic words to Mom: “We’re bored.” They’ll rue the day for saying that.

Wanda can’t wait for school to start again!

We never said those words (I’m bored) at our house, or we got handed a vacuum cleaner or a bucket and sponge lol!

Ah it’s so good to see the kids finally coming together on something. Now begins the fun when Wanda comes up with some nice chores for them to do.

“Oh, yeah? What is it?”

Climb a tree sounds good to me. See ya!

Stupid kids! Never, EVER say you’re bored! She’ll work you like dogs!

Wanda retrieves three old toothbrushes, makes up a bucket of warm soapy water and leads them to the bathroom, points at he floor and says “scrub!”

Wanda: “You’re bored? Go clean your rooms. Sort through your outgrown clothes before back to school shopping. You can help your dad clean out the garage when he gets home.”

Better be careful as the yard probably needs raking and weeds need pulling……

Rookie mistake. Never, ever say that to mom.

I would’ve jumped at all those suggestions (with exception to video games)!

I told my mother I was bored once and only once. l learned a valuable lesson that day.

Go ride the mini-Segway.

That’s how you end up in a vacuum cleaner relay race.

If those kids had nothing to complain about, they’re complain they had nothing to complain about.

I learned early on never to say “I’m bored”.

When I and my sibling was bored we never complained, just lived with it. This was during summer break.

Out of the house, into the back yard, and don’t come in till suppertime
