As long as you have a pet, you can know that you have a purpose in life.

I had hard contacts in the 70’s. Hated them. Soft contacts in the mid 80’s. I just didn’t get on with the maintenance (I have high protein content in my eye balls it seems, so lots of cleaning). But Lasik in the 2010’s has been great for the last 14 years. Your results may vary.

Keep cats indoors. The invasive species is destroying the native songbird population.

My first job was “Doorman at a cat house” We had lots of cats, they came and went as they pleased. I was usually the one opening the door for them. I like summers because we left the window open and they just used that.

Our cat flat refused to go outside. I think he heard about the coyotes that would come into town to hunt pets and strays. We took him to the park once on a leash so he would feel secure with us close by but then I stepped on a twig which made him lose his mind and pee on himself. We took the traumatized guy home promising to never do that again and he lived out his long life happily indoors. I had never felt so bad or guilty in my life for that.

I notice their door swings to the outside. In a comment on a Facebook post, someone said that is common where she lives. It makes the door harder to kick in.

Opal tossed a leopard into the washing machine, it came out spotless.

Opal should just stay there at the door. If Muffin is your typical cat, then she can’t make up her mind whether to stay in or go out.

Dogs look up to us. cats look down on us. Pigs at least have the decency to treat us as equals.

I had to laugh when I saw this cartoon. This is exactly how I spend my day. Sometimes my cat Darkness stays out for less than 5 minutes before she wants in, and then, in three minutes, she changes her mind and wants to come in!

My neighbor had a cat door, but had to get rid of the door because she woke up in the middle of the night with a raccoon in her bed. Yikes!!

There is something about rubbing your eyeballs with your fingers for several minutes several times a day that didn’t catch on with me.

Get daily wear disposable lenses. They are comfortable and you toss them after wearing for a day. Safer and easier.

We only have a cat door in our kitchen door that leads to the basement because in winter the door remains closed and their boxes are in the basement, and in summer if the A/C needs to be on we also close it.

However, Mr. takes out our King who must of been and indoor/outdoor cat. But Mr. is with him for the 15 to 20 minutes 3 X’s a day when King wants out. No raccoons, coyotes, or anything that flies to harm him. Even a bald eagle wouldn’t be able to pick him up. He weighs 16.3 #’s! lol
