I’m in FL, and in my back yard is an ant place that moves quite often. The hole into their nest is over 2". It’s not even a hill it’s just a big hole that ants clock in and out of. I have no idea how they make a living. There’s nothing here?
In my day, chores were required to earn the allowance. Though, now, an allowance can be treated as a tool to teach money management. In my day, we learned that too, and the value of hard work.
All my friends were getting an allowance so I begged my father for one too. “How much do you want?” he asked. “A quarter a week!” “Ok” he says. Up to then I was getting 5 cents a DAY. Dumb or what?
