Just one laptop is required these days.

No laptops, no backpacks. Just lugging our books to school and back home. Lockers were great if the building they were in was near the building you had to go to class.

Hopefully they go to laptops to replace those books…

But where to stow those gym clothes?! UGH!!

Good luck finding textbooks. Everything’s gone to online computer based stuff. Never mind the studies that show retention is better when reading from a printed page or actually writing something out. Or that some kids have limited access to the internet. And yes, I realize I’m typing this on the net with a ’puter.

My granddaughters schools stopped letting students use lockers after Covid, and the cartoon does depict what’s happened since.

Only the ones you need for that day, Zack.

We were only allowed to go to our lockers at the beginning and end of the day. We had to carry everything all day.

Worst day of the year for school bus drivers. When the gym lockers are cleaned out.

Like a lot of school boards, theirs has a rather tenuous grip on reality. Preconceived ideas gush out of their bodies like moldy meat.

Uh oh!

Um. Must live where it’s warm all year or maybe they just wear hoodies all day.

What is in their bags that they are so big and heavy? I have always wondered as I saw the size of those bags grow year after year.
