Well, venomous, not poisonous, but probably not much worse than yesterday.

Yah, well “climate change” y’know. We’ve been seeing some of the hot-climate snakes moving north…

It’s that snake that Caulfield caught yesterday. BTW, where’s Caulfield?

Well, the only venomous snake you need to worry about in Michigan is the Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake and he’ll be as much in a hurry to stay away from you as you are of him, so there’s that.

Jef Mallett was cautioned about the use of poisonous vs venomous a few years ago. C’mon Jef.

Its election season so yes, there are a lot of poisonous snakes running loose.

venomous snakes, spiders and ticks all available where I grew up. A day was not complete unless you had interaction with at least one of them!

Tests always ticked me off, and I find ticks very testing…

Venomous snakes, you mean. Poisonous is when it kills you if you bite it – venomous when it kills you if it bites you.

If it bites you and you die, it’s venomous. If it bites you and it dies, you’re poisonous. If you bite it and it bites you and nobody dies, that’s just kinky.

Poisonous snakes are no problem, venomous snakes aren’t either. Usually it’s humans that are problems for snakes.
