This series of strips formed part of the basis for the 1985 animated Peanuts special “Snoopy’s Getting Married, Charlie Brown”. I remembered Peppermint Patty forcing Charlie Brown to be her watchdog.

I like Peppermint Patty, but sometimes she is a little unhinged.

So, Peppermint Patty, who literally went to obdience school, is treating Charlie Brown as if he’s a dog. What a strange role reversal.

Horrible Patty strikes again. At least a dog biscuit would have some taste. But a Baby Ruth candy bar would really be nice and appropriate for two baseball managers.

Why does she need a watch dog if she’s going to stay up all night watching him?

So…. Snoopy on the baseball team is a “human” and now she treats CB as a dog. And Marcie’s the one that wears glasses?

This is almost as bad as Lucy and the football.
