Writing comics is like … really hard.

Coming up with a gag a day, I can do that for a while.Coming up with a good story arc, maybe one time.Drawing four pictures a day for six days a week plus six on Sunday and having them match my gag a day or arc, ARRRGGHH! Get me outa here!

Some days the creative process feels like being dragged backward through a knothole.

Just take it easy on the bad puns, OK, Phoebe?

Now do one about golf, and then one about how social media is bad.

It’s always easy until you find out just how hard it is.

Or do a comic about how superheroes suck. If it’s crazy enough, you could get a show on amazon prime that changes virtually everything about it.

Like, what if Superman, but EVIL?

The comic artist’s most feared word- “Deadline”!

Bloom County covered it in the 80’s mostly focusing on how good ideas were mangled by editors and time deadlines

Yeah, sorry, Phoebe, I’ve seen comics about that ALL THE TIME, so…yeah, you’ve already been beaten to the punch on that.

But that said, I’m still totally game to see what it is you’re coming up with. :D
