Simply put, sparklers burn at a temperature between 1800°F and 3000°F (1000°C – 1600°C). The temperature can vary based on factors like the length, width, and composition of the sparkler.
Perfect thing to give young and uncoordinated children!
Kinda like learning about hot stove burners, there’s no better object lesson than having a ladyfinger go off in your hand. Hurts like the dickens, but no permanent injury likely. Most guys my age will know exactly what I’m talking about.
my sister’s dress caught on fire from a sparkler and my mom burnt her hands putting it out. we were still allowed to have sparklers after but with much more caution.

One of the most dangerous “fireworks” there is!

I remember my grandmother telling me about a child who died when her dress caught fire from a sparkler.

Had a squib go off in my right hand once. I was afraid to look. My hand’s still there, but, boy, did that ever hurt!
