Did you hear about Google’s AI image generator? A couple of Google employees deliberately tinkered with the algorithms in the hope of forcing it to depict “diverse” images, but once word got out people found ways to game the generator so that it was producing bigoted imagery. That’s an actual example of politics interfering with an AI to catastrophically negative effect.
