Trust me, it’s gonna be a long time before you need to worry. AI makes delightful caricatures, but at the present time getting a finished comic strip to do what you want it to, it would be easier to learn to draw.
Some cartoonists might be ok, but just a few at a time to give the world time to adjust. Probably Pastis should stay where he is until he’s gone through a program or two.

It’s not just cartoonists. AI steals artwork of all kinds and reuses it without attribution, and flouts the law of copyright.

As the artist said, we need AI that vacuums the house, washes the dishes and makes the meals. Free us from drudgery so we can focus on our craft!
