Just what was Dubya’s “stem cell plan”? I remember he was totally opposed to the harvesting of stems from aborted fetuses,

Nancy Reagan was personally soft on ‘right to life’ but she knew the base was gung ho so she acted as zealous as anyone to protect the unborn babies.

That was until she found out that stem cells might help Ronnie’s dementia; then she came out in favor of the research.

Once they have to deal with consequences, they learn.

I’m guessing Coors did NOT pay for product placement here.

I recall a later strip with soldiers in Iraq asking “Do you think the president loses any sleep over us?” And then a cut to the white house at night – “It’s the stem cells – I hear them crying out to me!”

God, remember these carefree days? When the biggest thing GBT could think to criticize a GOP president on was stem cell research policy?

My wife(73yo) is being treated by a Sports Medicine DO for a shoulder injury with stem cells harvested from her own blood. She prefers that to the total shoulder replacement which is choice preferred by Medicare. They call the stem cell approach “Experimental” even though it has been around for several years and has an excellent success rate
