Rudd Weatherwax, Lassie’s owner and trainer, fed her (actually, HIM) a special diet. Jeff’s and Timmy’s families probably didn’t eat nearly as well! (—

Lassie: “I’m just hungry, you idiot!! Can’t you see the empty bowl?!”

When my tomcat starts bugging me for food, I always say “What is it boy? Did Timmy fall in the well again?” He never laughs, just looks disgusted…
