I might pick up some ice cream if I go to the store today. I’m still sick and it would taste good. I only buy ice cream by the cone, knowing a private stash won’t last very long at all. After doing a Z pack antibiotic for five days with no joy, I went to the ER yesterday. Diagnosed with Bronchitis and a little pneumonia. I start two different antibiotics today, so hopefully I’ll start to feel better soon. I hate having a summer cold! Ugh!
I told the vet’s assistant the cat was ferile. I was curious to see how they would deal with him. They didn’t. The chaos that ensued was very much like today’s strip…
My Freyja was a six month old feral when I rescued her from the middle of a highway. My vet at the time (he retired) was great and knew how to handle a feral without freaking her out. The following year for her check-up, I got one of his other vets (he owned the practice). I always let them know she was a feral but when the technician came in, she started to grab her neck. I do not recommend going at a feral from above by the way. Needless to say, Freyja totally freaked out on both the technician and the vet. I kept telling them to let me handle her but they did not want to listen. Both the vet and her technician were terrified of Freyja, and rightly so. I have made it a point to tell them to never let those two near Freyja again. Freyja is perfectly behaved with everyone else as long as I am in the room.
Whoa, talk about chaos! Those poor vets. Chesney was obviously NOT in a good mood. On another note, saw two spotted towhees, a damselfly, two wrens, a raven, two robins, and three juncos while out walking today,

Poor Annie, she tries. Anyone else would have given up a long time ago. She is, ( as my grandmother would say), “gooder than ary angel”

Chesley can’t be that bad … can he?

Looks like the vets did more damage than poor innocent Chesney just sitting there. He needs a hug.

Hilarious! I wonder if there’s any deleted scenes that did not make the final cut.

Felix was my cat who scared the vet and the vet tech, and anyone else in the office at the time…
