Just more nonsense. It’s not about climate change. It’s thinking the Democrat policies will do anything to help. Moving production to China and other countries that pollute more than we do hurts the Earth.

The climate has always changed and always will, despite arrogant humans who think they can alter it by driving EVs and reusing shopping bags.

Climate change is a complex problem, and sadly it will take a lot of things happening to help. North West Iowa is flooded in many places, a very pro-t-rump area, but not they want the “evil government” to literally bail them out?

Of course the climate changes. Some folks seem to believe that human beings can stop it from doing so.

With a lifespan of a mere ~80 odd years none of us can “see” climate change. We “see” weather cycles. Science is trying to see climate change but there are many empty chapters in the book. Pollution may well be a factor and fossil fuels is the current scapegoat.. but it’s the number of people using the benefits of fossil fuels that is the real problem.

@aristoclesplato9 So, so many errors (I’ll say that instead of “lies” – you might genuinely not know better).

    - The Republican Party has been the leader in sending jobs overseas for some time now. #45 merely lied, as usual, when he said he would save jobs. While theoretically campaigning against China, his daughter was getting sweetheart deals for Chinese manufacturing and patents, and his own America First crap was manufactured in China.

    - You are arguing in heads-I-win-tails-you-lose style: Biden has gotten American chip manufacturing back again, period. You think that’s bad because they are “Biden supporters,” which is irrelevant to the task at hand. #45’s supporters include Putin and Kim Jong Un.

    - The fragility of our power grid is a real thing. So of course Republicans have blocked taking action on that for years. Texas separated their grid from everyone else’s, which made it that much harder for them to manage high-stress period. This led to ludicrously high profits for the electrical companies (their real intent), but regular blackouts in high-demand periods. Ironically, what saved them last summer was – solar panels! Renewable energy would add far more robustness to our power grid, since it would decentralize it and provide more backups. A lot of people with solar panels are putting power into the grid, saving them a lot of money.

    - While we’re at it, had we continued the investment in renewable resources that Jimmy Carter started, we would be BY FAR the world leader in solar and wind technology, and far less dependent on fossil fuels. How do I know this? Because we already were, and the German, Japanese, and Chinese companies in the lead now bought American patents. Reagan went out of his way to kill nascent greentech, being supported by the petrochemical firms that ALREADY KNEW about global warming – as they have supported other Republicans since, who have in turn supported them.

I have been keeping garden records for about 40 years. The daffodils I planted on September 17th, 1997 bloomed on May 7th 1998 for the first time. Each year, they have averaged blooming earlier. This year, it was March 23rd. No change in anything except the climate. And the entire rest of the garden is following the same pattern. Those who don’t believe in climate change are either lying because Faux has instructed them not to see it, or they have never planted a seed in their life.

Climate change is real. London of the 1800s vs now is proof. In the 1800s and early 1900s people burned coal and the smog caused hundreds of deaths. (Mary Poppins and the chimney sweeps). When London moved from coal the air cleared and health improved. We need to heed that lesson on a global scale.

There was a hole created in the ozone layer because o0f the use of chlorofluorocarbons; when that usage was reduced, that hole has diminished and continues to shrink every year.

Nimrods started killing all wolves they could find in the west. This resulted in a massive increase in beavers, which started building more dams and they ended up actually re-routing rivers and other waterways. Wolves brought back, and overall environment improved.
