    I won’t take the time to reply to each liberal idiot individually, because there just aren’t enough hours in the day.

    Suffice it to say that I knew the standard actors would misconstrue the decision to make it seem like SCOTUS said a President could do anything and get away with it. They’re so invested in their “the sky is falling" narrative that they can’t understand that the ruling means a President can’t be held criminally responsible for official acts. Sonia Sotomayor even said that under the ruling, a president would be immune for taking a bribe to issue a pardon (never mind that bribery is specifically listed in the Constitution as grounds for impeachment).

    Liberal also fail to understand that the ruling means Obama can’t be tried for manslaughter for droning a wedding procession instead of terrorists in Yemen, and that Biden can’t be tried for abetting terrorists for allowing billions of dollars of military equipment to fall into the hands of terrorists.

    But why let all of that get in the way of a good old fashioned liberal meltdown?

    I write separately to highlight another way in which this prosecution may violate our constitutional structure. In this case, the Attorney General purported to appoint a private citizen as Special Counsel to prosecute a former President on behalf of the United States. But, I am not sure that any office for the Special Counsel has been “established by Law,” as the Constitution requires. Art. II, §2, cl. 2. By requiring that Congress create federal offices “by Law,” the Constitution imposes an important check against the President—he cannot create offices at his pleasure. If there is no law establishing the office that the Special Counsel occupies, then he cannot proceed with this prosecution. A private citizen cannot criminally prosecute anyone, let alone a former President.

    This decision presents a variety of problems for those who are legally harassing Trump, it could even have implications for the recently concluded Soviet show trial in Manhattan.

    The most intriguing part of the decision was Justice Clarence Thomas’s concurring opinion, which gives Trump ammunition in his battle with Special Counsel Jack Smith and is a multi-page dismantling of the legality of the special counsel’s office.

    Biden was trotted out well past his bedtime to complain about the ruling. He’d been given a bad spray tan and just enough Adderall to enable him to read off of a teleprompter for a few minutes. He didn’t take any questions, of course.

    President LOLEightyonemillion and his handlers had a lot riding on Merrick Garland’s rogue special counsel attack on Trump, and it has to be particularly galling in what’s left of his mind that Clarence Thomas is the SCOTUS justice throwing a massive monkey wrench into the plan.

    It was almost exactly 33 years ago when, as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Joe Biden did everything he could to destroy Thomas’s reputation and keep him off of the Supreme Court. He enabled Anita Hill and her spurious accusations and attempted character assassination.

    Don’t be surprised if NPR is soon overcome by the urge to interview Anita Hill.

    Speaking of a full-throated liberal meltdown, Justice Sotomayor attempts to strike a tone of chilling doom in us all.

    “Orders the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival? Immune.

    “Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune.

    “Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immune.”

    Only those who are on the same drugs as Biden will agree with her that these are really the things we need to be most afraid of. More like “What’s going to happen when our enemies decide to strike us outside the hours of 10 AM to 4 PM?”

    Maybe Sotomayor is secretly practicing to be the next member of The View in her retirement.

    The difficulty with democracy, is that it was designed expecting that the leaders would be basically of good character, and that there would be “good men” in the other branches to act as a check on anyone who was corrupt.

    What to do when there is a whole group of corrupt individuals who have infiltrated the very fabric of our democracy?

    First, there are two bills that are being presented, one in the U.S. House of Representatives and one in the U.S. Senate to implement ethics rules and enforcement for SCOTUS.

    S.359 – Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act of 2023

    H.R.8098 – Judicial Ethics Enforcement Act of 2024

    Secondly, an Inspector General can be appointed to oversee SCOTUS.

    Thirdly, justices Alito, Thomas, and Roberts can be impeached.

    Unfortunately, all of these actions depend on a BLUE wave in November 2024 – U.S. presidency, House, and Senate
