Yeah. The kids on the Kids Baking shows know more about cooking at age 12 then I do at my age. Which, of course, isn’t saying a lot. Sadly. Charlotte is about six years too late to thing about competing.
Welll, Heart is right. Following the directions gives you the basis for cooking & baking & teaches you to see what the correct results looks like. Like all the interminable scales exercises when you learn to play the piano, that teach you where the keys are to play the notes. Recipes have all the right ingredients to produce their product, tried & tested by the creators
The real question IMHO is if she simply wants to be on TV, and that show is the vector she’s chosen.
If she just wants to be on TV, then she should look into whether or not one of her local television stations has time set aside for public access. If that’s the case, she and the others could petition to host their own show.
It’s like that one story arc in “Calvin & Hobbes” when Calvin wanted a beanie from a cereal company, but the delivery would take over a month, and Calvin fears he would be old by then (keep in mind Calvin’s like 6 in the comic).
