Well, I’m sure they ain’t playing “When the Saints Go Marching In,” or “Battle Hymn of the Republic.” Probably something Putin picked out.

Just what the authors of our constitution wanted, kingly powers for the President, unhindered by any Congress or Parliament.

This court bought and paid for by billionaires. Hide their real intentions behind “pro life” and hand over representative government to an oligarchy. Trash equal voting rights. Trash regulation of big money influence in politics. Trash regulation of big business even if it means poisoned air and water. And now trash the constitution and the law they are bound by oath to uphold for a fishing trip and a motor home.

A date that will live in infamy!

Thinking about how it would be reported if the ex-president of a non-Western country was ruled immune from prosecution by a panel of judges he himself appointed.

Congress has fussed and squawked for decades about how presidents have been increasing and squirreling away and using more and more power, ostensibly usurping Congressional and SCOTUS powers for the presidency. And now, after killing Garland’s nomination hearings, and confirming Trump’s toadies, they lay down and accept this SCOTUS ruling (it ain’t a judgment), as if they were a field of cornstalks after tornado passed through.

CONTEMPTIBLE!!

The difficulty with democracy, is that it was designed expecting that the leaders would be basically of good character, and that there would be “good men” in the other branches to act as a check on anyone who was corrupt.

What to do when there is a whole group of corrupt individuals who have infiltrated the very fabric of our democracy?

First, there are two bills that are being presented, one in the U.S. House of Representatives and one in the U.S. Senate to implement ethics rules and enforcement for SCOTUS.

S.359 – Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act of 2023

H.R.8098 – Judicial Ethics Enforcement Act of 2024

Secondly, an Inspector General can be appointed to oversee SCOTUS.

Thirdly, justices Alito, Thomas, and Roberts can be impeached.

Unfortunately, all of these actions depend on a BLUE wave in November 2024 – U.S. presidency, House, and Senate

The irony is that this ruling also applies to Biden, who, like most Democrats, is too honorable to use the judicial rewriting of the Constitution to suppress the MAGA opponents. It’s a disgusting feature of this ruling that the so-called conservatives on the Court chose to ignore the grievances listed in the Declaration of Independence against King George to effectively give many of those powers to the president. Read the entire Declaration of Independence. That should give pause to true Americans from even considering voting for Trump. And any analysis of our electoral system should lead true Americans to only vote for Democrats this election cycle and several more to prevent a full takeover by those with fascist designs. Voting for anyone other party or not voting is a vote for Trump and his cult. Happy 4th.

You can’t say this is a surprise can you. From the day moscow mitch stole his first seat from Obama we all knew this was coming. Then RGB HAD to hang on so she could have the first female president appoint her successor only to watch as apathetic democrats gave us trump. Then we again watch mitch the hypocrite do a complete (and obvious) 180 when faced with the identical circumstances as Obama was only to give us the most unqualified “justice” in history. This all happed nearly 4 years ago. The only real surprise is it took them this long to do it. I expected them to give trump god king status on Jan 21 2020.

Biden should make a pointed remark to the SC, thanking them for giving HIM all this immunity, as NOW he has the power to do what he needs to do. He can now pardon his son without repercussions.

I started “warning” about the republican plan to take over the country by subverting the American judiciary over 20 years ago – I had connections to the John Birch and the Federalist Society, and I knew their plans for trying to destroy our institutions even as far back as the 50’s and 60’s – it was to be a multi-generation assault – and it seems to be working…

Please be advised that it was NEVER about holding the American presidency and was ALWAYS about building an amenable judiciary…

When Trump ASCENDS the presidency, this time, he will not step down – EVER – I wonder whether he’ll have “Tiffiny” craft his crown – there would be a delicious irony in that outcome…
