New theory of the day: Reality TV is good training for American politics. The situations are fake, but the stress and emotions are real. When someone snaps, there are lots of cameras—but then they edit the results so it’s fake again. For the “Apprentice” version I heard they needed 30 hours of video to get a few minutes that made him look good. But the “star” of fake reality TV is the person who can remember to look at the right camera and say something dramatic…

Disclaimer: I’ve never watched reality TV, though I did work security for all-star wrestling, which is the fake ancestor of reality TV. However my main memories are of watching to fans to keep them from throwing beer on this week’s villains.

Best to listen, gather all the facts, and decide!

The overflow from the political pages has started. It’s awash with the trumpists’ deluded comments already.

I vote for NFL (National Forensic League) rules.

Wow. Now that they are discontinuing the comments on the political comments, are we gonna get all the angry douchbags and malcontents flooding the other comics? We already get enough (too much) of that here and a few other comics. I wish these people would get a clue and a life.

Everyone brings up Trumps past, and his rap sheet, preaches values that he doesn’t live. But the orange kool-aid flows and it’s laced with discrimination, womens rights lost forever, elimination of all non Trumpites. Is this to lead to the conclusion that Trumpites are illiterate and cant interpret language that is shared? Or are they all wearing orange colored glasses>
