Saloon Salon…it could work.

A beauty salon and a wine bar. You could call it Wine and Shine.

The workers have to stay sober and the customers have to stay still.

I do know that in Beverly Hills, those fancy nail salons serve champagne.

We have a Hair Saloon where I live but I don’t think they serve cocktails. Bummer. ;)

They do that in CA. The difference in price between that and say Great Clips is about $7.00, just enough to pay for the “free” beer.

My brother goes to one of those shops, and told me about the free beer. I told him my wife cuts my hair, I get free beer and a lot more.

When the help gets to drinking, they sometimes apply makeoops.

It would work for me.

Many years ago a friend of mine wanted us to go to a new bar he had spotted. We look for it (this is pre-internet, let alone pre smartphone), and find that he had seen a Salon, but thought it said Saloon.

This is the truth!

The salon(saloon) I go to, serves drinks for those who want to indulge!

Just make sure when the hairdresser cuts your hair, or the manicurist files and paints your nails, they haven’t been under the influence….☺️

They’ve had one too mani.

I take my husband to a place called “Bourbon and Blades” every month to get his beard trimmed. Yes, the client gets a shot of their choice of bourbons with every appointment, although he usually turns it down. Sometimes I will go ahead and take his shot for him, I figure that is what a good wife does.

I’d go there.

There was something like that in Cleveland.I don’t know if it made it through the pandemic. I wonder if the scent all the chemicals, would affect the flavors of the drinks.

Like going to try on wedding dresses.. They get ya’ liquored up!

Wanna bet their business would double and tips triple.

My first salaried job I worked part-time at the front desk of a high-end salon. We were open on Friday night. Fri. evenings he put out a spread with scotch and mixers and food. Everybody indulged. (Luckily for me the drinking age was 18, though he didn’t care)
